Community Guidelines

Last updated: July 30, 2026

SaveState is a place to talk about games. To keep it that way, don't post:

• Spam — repetitive, unsolicited, or purely promotional content.
• Harassment — targeted insults, threats, or pile-ons against another user.
• Hate speech — content attacking people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar.
• Inappropriate content — sexually explicit material, graphic violence unrelated to game discussion, or anything illegal.
• Impersonation — pretending to be another person, developer, or publisher.

Reporting

If you see content that breaks these guidelines, use the Report action on the review, list, comment, or profile. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team, and we may remove content, warn a user, or suspend an account depending on severity.

Spoilers

Mark reviews and comments that discuss plot or ending details as "contains spoilers" — the app blurs these by default so other users can choose whether to reveal them.

Enforcement

We may remove content or restrict/delete accounts that violate these guidelines, at our discretion, without prior notice for severe violations (threats, illegal content).
